  Social studies field trips are offered for elementary school social studies classes. Customers other than elementary school students (groups and individuals) should make a reservation for the regular factory tour.

  Simply filling out the registration form does not complete your reservation. After submitting the form, you will receive an email from the Kirin Beer factory you requested. Your reservation will be complete only after the date and time of your visit are confirmed.

  We will accept reservations in order during the opening hours of Kirin's factory tour.

  Please note that it may take several days for us to respond after receiving your inquiry.

  Reservations for social studies field trips can be made starting six months in advance.

This program is designed for third-grade elementary school students, but students from other grades are also welcome to participate.

工場の概要・歴史

We will learn about the factory's overview and history, including when the factory was built, what was there before, why it was built in this location, and how many school swimming pools it is equivalent to.

素材

We will introduce the raw materials used to make our products: malt, hops, and water.

Preparation

You can tour the brewing room, which has large kettles where the raw materials are boiled, learn about the reuse of barley husks, and experience the wort before it becomes beer.

This section explains the process from fermentation in large tanks to the completion of the product.

We will mainly introduce the canning process and discuss our environmental initiative of reducing the weight of the cans.

This section explains the environmental initiatives being implemented within the factory, such as solar power generation.

Responsible Drinking Seminar - Social Studies Learning Version

This content answers questions that elementary school students might have, such as "Why shouldn't children drink alcohol?" and "What are some things they shouldn't do once they turn 20 and are legally allowed to drink?"

  The tour includes opportunities to sample grains and other grains, so please check and inform us in advance if you have any grain allergies. If anyone in your group has a grain allergy, the tour will be limited to the viewing only.

  At the end of the tour, we will distribute "Kirin Tsuyoizo! Mutekids" and "Millet Biscuits" as souvenirs. Please check in advance if you have any wheat, milk, or soy allergies. If there are any people with allergies, we will change the contents.
