    overview

You will be guided through the process of how Kirin Afternoon Tea is made, while observing the actual production line. You can learn about the people who work in the factory, the ingenuity behind the drinks, and environmental efforts in a fun quiz format. After the tour of the production process, we will answer questions from the children. We will also be offering Kirin Afternoon Tea Straight Tea and factory tour-exclusive Millet biscuits as souvenirs.

    Theater

The fun-loving "Gogotchi" and "Ant" will guide you through the manufacturing process in an exciting theater. The video of the production line is shown at actual speed, so you will feel like you are on a roller coaster, and you will also get a taste of what it feels like to see the tea bottled in a plastic bottle.

    line

You can see the entire factory production line through the glass window, where you can see many machines, the people who actually work there, and the factory conditions.

    Commemorative stamp

As a memento of your visit to the factory, you can have a visitor stamp printed on your pamphlet using the same machine that actually prints expiration dates on plastic bottles.

    Blow Molding Machine

You can experience up close the process of how a material called a preform is inflated to make a PET bottle. Kirin Beverage's factories are the only places in Japan where you can see bottles being inflated in a "blow molding machine" *1. *2

The bottle shape that you can see on the tour is based on Kirin Beverage's environmental mascot, Eco Panda *3.

On the tour, you can see up close how the Eco Panda-shaped bottles are made.
