The Shonan Factory offers a new style of tour that focuses on "experience."
At the Virtual Factory, you can experience the attention to detail behind "Afternoon Tea" through mechanisms that react to your movements and impressive images.
*The tour of the Shonan Factory does not include a tour of the production line inside the factory.

There are plenty of photogenic spots to commemorate the tour.

We'll also introduce you to the tea leaves used in Kirin Afternoon Tea!

You can also experience things you can only do at the Shonan Factory, using machines that recreate manufacturing equipment!

Factory tour overview

This tour allows you to experience the secret behind the deliciousness of Kirin Beverage's flagship product, "Kirin Afternoon Tea." You will also learn about how PET bottled products are made and the social contribution activities that are carried out through "Kirin Afternoon Tea."

Duration: Approximately 90 minutes (including 20 minutes for tasting)

Social Studies Field Trip Reservation Period and Reservation Method (including online tours)

*Please make your reservation at least two months in advance.

Reservations are currently being accepted from January 6th to March 31st, 2026.

Please be sure to check the details of your desired tour and apply using the [Social Studies Tour Application Form].

Reservations for February will close on Friday, December 19th.

Applications received after the deadline will be processed sequentially from Tuesday, January 6th.

Regarding reservations for social studies field trips for 2026, we will announce the details here as soon as they are decided.

We will connect schools with Kirin Beverage Shonan Factory online to show students how familiar drinks are made.
