What is the KIRIN ICHIBAN Tour?
「キリン一番搾り生ビール」のおいしさへのこだわりが、工場でも家でも実感できる工場見学です。
全国9か所にある工場だけの特別体験ができる「工場見学」と、家から楽しめる「オンライン工場見学」があり、見学中だけでなく見学前後にも体験できます。

To ensure that adult beer lovers can enjoy the event, there will be an immersive video screening of "Kirin's History of Innovation and Ichiban Shibori," and the Master Brewer, who is ultimately responsible for taste, will introduce the ideal beer that Kirin strives for.

Visitors can sample malt and smell the aroma of hops while watching visually and aurally appealing videos of barley and hop fields.

※At some factories, instead of videos of barley and hop fields, AR technology will be used to guide visitors.

Preparation ~ Wort

We will introduce the brewing process, in which malt is boiled to make wort and hops are added to bring out the unique aroma and bitterness of beer, as well as the brewing kettle in which this process takes place.

※The wort is served in paper cups.

※Due to circumstances, we may not be able to provide wort.
You can compare the first-pressed wort and the second-pressed wort and experience the difference in color and taste.

Fermentation to packaging

We will introduce the fermentation process, which involves adding yeast to the wort, and how to store the beer to achieve a harmonious flavor and aroma.
You will be able to see the packaging process, where the finished beer is packed into containers and then subjected to rigorous inspection before being finished as a product.

※Depending on the factory production schedule, the production line may be suspended on the day.

※At some factories, it is not possible to tour the production lines, so we will guide you through the video.

Our "Brewery Draft Masters"* are meticulous about the freshness of the beer, the condition of the server, the glass, and even the pouring method, to provide you with delicious "KIRIN ICHIBAN Beer."
