Kirin Distillery Fuji-Gotemba Distillery

Fuji-Gotemba Distillery offers a panoramic view of the sacred Mount Fuji. This area is blessed with underground water from Fuji, an average annual temperature of 13°C, and frequent fog throughout the year. The Shibanta area of Fuji-Gotemba offers the ideal environment for whiskey. Since opening in 1973, we have pursued our ideal whiskey here as our whiskey-making base. Fuji-Gotemba Distillery is a rare distillery in the world that produces both malt and grain, and is a one-stop shop for everything from brewing to bottling.
