Admission is free, but there is a fee for the factory tour (500 yen per person for those 20 years of age or older).

  The Kirin Beverage Shonan and Shiga Factory "Kirin Gogo-no-Kocha Tour"  is free.

Advance reservations and payments are required online.
Please make your reservation through the page of each factory listed below.

Customers making new reservations for the March 2026 tour, or those who have already made reservations for March, will be required to pay at the ticket machine upon arrival. Payment methods accepted are cash, credit card, transportation IC card, and electronic money.

  There may be some types of cards or electronic money that are not supported. QR payments are not supported.

Starting with tour reservations for April 2026, we will be changing to a prepayment system where you will need to pay in advance by credit card when making your reservation. Please pay by credit card when booking your tour on the website.

VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and JCB are accepted.

Changes or cancellations can be made up to 30 minutes before the tour starts on the day.

If you wish to make changes, please click "Confirm/Cancel Reservation" on the reservation application page of the factory you plan to tour.
Please cancel your reservation using the button and then make a new reservation.

Please access the link in the email you received when you made your reservation and cancel your reservation.
You can make changes. To cancel or change your reservation, you will need the "Reservation ID" and email address issued for your reservation.

Yes, individuals can also participate.

Cancellation is possible up to 30 minutes before the tour starts on the day.
The participation fees are as follows:

Reservations for March 2026 will be paid on the day of the tour rather than in advance, so there will be no cancellation fees even if you are unable to show up on the day.

If you cancel a prepaid tour via the website up to 30 minutes before the start of the tour on the day of participation, we will refund your participation fee. However, if you cancel less than 30 minutes before the start of the tour on the day of participation, you will not be able to cancel and your participation fee will not be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes, you can tour the factory. However, depending on the production situation, the packaging line may not be in operation during the tour.

  There are no tours of the packaging line at the Toride Factory, Shiga Factory (beer factory tour), or Fukuoka Factory. There are no tours of the production line at the Shonan Factory.

In addition to the products introduced on the factory tour, we also offer non-alcoholic beer-flavored drinks and soft drinks (excluding Kirin Beverage Shonan Factory). Please see the factory tour page for each factory.

Yes, you can bring children along to the tour.

  The Kirin Beverage factory is only open to junior high school students and younger, and the beer and whiskey factories do not allow tours by anyone under the age of 20.

Tour guides will be speaking in Japanese. At the brewery, videos will have English subtitles. At the whisky distillery, videos will have English subtitles and an audio guide (in English) will be available.
